Welcome to the April 2026 edition of the Monthly Roundup. This newsletter is designed to keep our employees and the public updated with any changes in the city or department. April has been a busy month for the department, with several new faces in the command teams. I would like to welcome everyone who has recently joined and I hope you have a great time in your new roles.
We have also made very needed changes to our Officer Handbook, which should help newer officers understand the department's policies and procedures better. I would like to massively thank everyone who contributed to the updates and I encourage all officers to review the handbook to stay informed.
We should also note that our Head of Development Services, Sindarin, has stepped down from his position. We're grateful for his contributions to the development of this new PLPD website and wish him all the best moving forward. Thank you for all of your work and effort!
