Message From The Chief
The scorching month of July is finally at an end, which of course doesn’t mean the command teams have slowed down!
After going through one more cycle for command recruitment, we now have most vacancies filled and all divisions are back up and running per usual. A few junior command positions may yet open in the near future so keep your eyes peeled on the careers page!
Another new and exciting opportunity has also arisen for new and experienced officers both with the introduction of the FTO initiative. Whether you want some more in the field guidance or be the one giving it, the FTO programme is sure to help everyone who participates. We’ve gone through quite a few iterations and debated what and how to do this and I’m happy to say we finally came up with a good draft. If you want to participate or have ideas on how to improve this initiative, please don’t hesitate to open a ticket with patrol.
Dank has released a new update for PLPD online too. Though most of these changes are for command/administrative work, we’re incredibly happy as it has allowed for a more streamlined workflow (and getting rid of some despised third party software) which should hopefully lead to less time consuming processes for the affected divisions.
- Deputy Chief of Department Jaden Rogerson
